Ok, so here we go! Blog set up and ready to go!
I'm off to Australia in 9 days, and I think the notion is finally settling in! I've been getting things in order well advance. Not that there's a lot to do, but you know how it is when you travel, you don't want to forget to pack anything. Of course, in my case, it's a bit unique, because I'm quite literally packing everything before I go away, not for the trip, but for my move when I come back in June to my new apartment in Montreal.
Right now I'm in Ottawa for a couple days, taking a break from packing, but also to make time for a last minute optometrist appointment to fix a problem with my contacts prescription. I feel a slight sense of deja vu, as last time I went to Australia in 2008, first thing I had to do was see an optometrist, after accidently forgetting my glasses in Canada. That won't be the case this time I assure you! Contacts and glasses are at the top of my list ;)
Let the count down begin!! 9 days to go....
